Privacy
This page covers the presentation website racemeter.fr. It collects nothing: no account, no form, no cookie.
Data controller
CadLab, a French sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle) whose registration is in progress, reachable at contact@racemeter.fr.
What this site doesn't do
- No cookies, no trackers, no analytics, no advertising, no social media buttons.
- No forms: the site asks you for nothing.
- No resources loaded from third parties: fonts, images and style sheet come from this server. The site uses no scripts.
What is recorded
- Server logs: for each page requested, the IP address, the date, the page and the browser. They're used for the site's security (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and are deleted after 30 days. A protection tool blocks addresses that attack the server for a few hours.
- Your emails: if you write to us, for example to join the beta, your message is only used to reply to you and send you the invitation. It's kept for 3 years at most after our last exchange.
What about the app?
During the beta, the app works without an account: your runs, your layouts and your videos stay on your phone. It downloads the aerial photos directly from IGN. With a unit, it receives the RTK corrections from the Centipède network, to which the phone sends its position for that purpose.
The account and online sharing will come with the Racemeter server, hosted in France. Its privacy policy will be published here before it opens.
Where the data is
The site is hosted by OVHcloud, in France, and its logs don't leave this server.
Your rights
You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing, by writing to contact@racemeter.fr. If you're not satisfied with the answer, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).
